Large Sandbar on the Schoolhouse Barge.  Three Spotted Dolphins greeted us on the  Markham at 80 feet.  Many large Amber jacks on the Hyde.  Tropicals moving in.  Lots of fossil teeth lying around for the sharp eye.  An incredible three dives...............................some big old Flounder stacked up on one of the wrecks - your guess!

We dove dallas rock and the lib ship area today.  Vis. at dallas rock was 10-15ft and water temp was 71 degrees.  Lots of particulate in the water.  Not much besides ringtail pinfish and on the ledge..  At the lib. ship, the water was green but decent.  The vis. was pretty good being 15ft. or better.  Tons of bait and barracudas.  Managed one nice flounder and a sheepshead.

The Schoolhouse is a great alternative to the more often dived sites and it is covered in marine life. Underwater naturalists can locate such species as the High-hat fish living within the wreck, which is easily penetrable.

In 50 square feet of wreck at the Markham we saw 5 stingrays, 1 Loggerhead turtle, 7 sharks,  and 3 Barracuda. Oh yeah, and the Spanish Macks were everywhere, just chewing up the bait!

The Tower is a diving icon known along the entire East Coast. Tropical and deep water species are abundant in only 50' of depth. Lunar tides created a decent current which reduced the viz but it's always a memorable experience.
